Regional Director, Western States

Position Summary – Phoenix Multisport is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to develop a fundraising and partnerships strategy to ensure financial sustainability and to expand the reach of our sober active community. The Western States Regional Director will work directly with the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director to scale our model and position Phoenix Multisport as a leader in the field of recovery across the Western States Region. The ideal candidate will design and build a sustainable and diverse array of programs through targeted fundraising, strategic partnership, revenue ventures, and creative management. Passion for our mission is essential to this role.

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring financial sustainability, overseeing current operations and implementing a strategic growth strategy to expand Phoenix Multisport programs throughout the Western States Region (California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Hawaii). Priority will be given to individuals who have a track record of raising funds through relationships with high net worth donors. This position is based in Orange County, California.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy including private donations, government and foundation grants, and revenue-generating models to ensure sustainability and targeted growth within the region
• Oversee of all programs operating in the region, including:
­ Newport Beach, CA
­ Other locations and programs TBD
• Actively network within the region to build professional partnerships
• Manage the regional budget and deploying strategies to ensure sustainability and targeted growth within the region
• Lead and manage direct reports including selecting, developing, retaining, providing performance feedback, and facilitating disciplinary procedures across multiple sites as necessary
• Directly supervise local directors, managers and any staff providing programming independently throughout the region.
• Ensure satisfactory performance of chapter(s) and programs operating in the region
• Analyze performance of chapters and programs, provides feedback, guidance and training to impact results
• Other duties as assigned
• Evening and weekend hours required as needed
• Must be able to travel for meetings as necessary

Qualifications:
• Lived experience as a peer in recovery preferred
• Able to demonstrate personal experience raising funds to sustain a budget of $1M or more
• 7+ years of related non-profit management or related business experience
• Experience overseeing programs in multiple cities and states
• Possess excellent organizational and communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to change
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people from all walks of life
• Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and integrity
• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and highly proficient with software including word processing, data base management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail

Chapter Manager, Danvers, MA

Position Summary Phoenix Multisport is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to develop and manage our Danvers, MA Chapter through our partnership with Recovery Centers for America (RCA). The Danvers Chapter Manager will work with the New England Regional Director to establish a sober active community in Danvers, operate a health and wellness program for individuals receiving substance use disorder treatment at RCA’s facility, and bridge these two groups together.

The ideal candidate will be a certified personal trainer or experienced group fitness instructor with program management experience. This position is responsible for serving as a liaison to RCA – Danvers on behalf of Phoenix Multisport providing and overseeing a daily fitness schedule for their patients as well as operating a chapter that serves the broader Danvers community and surrounding towns. A strong connection to Phoenix Multisport’s mission is critical; preference will be given to those with personal experience in recovery from alcohol or substance use disorder.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interface with the management team at RCA – Danvers to ensure a shared vision for the partnership is actualized
• Ensure quality and trauma sensitive fitness instruction and the Phoenix culture is provided to patients at RCA – Danvers
• Operate a Phoenix Multisport Chapter that offers free community programming for those who live in Danvers and surrounding communities.
• Build Phoenix Multisport’s Volunteer and Workforce Development programs to increase capacity, diversify programs offered and expand Phoenix programming
• Supervise staff of 3+ instructors facilitating group fitness, yoga, etc.
• Oversee and conduct outreach with organizations, communities and individuals living in North Shore Communities
• Build partnerships to improve access to recovery support and treatment for those living on the North Shore.
• Work as part of a larger team to build a robust sober active community throughout New England
• Analyze performance of chapter and programs, provides feedback, guidance and training to impact results
• Other duties as assigned
• Work evening and weekend hours as needed

Qualifications:
• NASM, NSCA, ACSM, or ACE personal trainer preferred
• Experience facilitating group fitness programs
• Experience with budgets and program management preferred
• Possess excellent organizational and communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to change
• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment, and proficient with software including word processing, spreadsheet applications and email
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people from all walks of life
• Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and integrity

• Recovery Coach certification preferred, but not required

Yoga Instructor, Denver

Position Summary: The ideal candidate will be an experienced yoga instructor with appropriate certification and experience teaching group classes. A strong connection to Phoenix Multisport’s mission is critical; preference will be given to those with personal experience in recovery from alcohol or substance use disorder. In addition to running multiple weekly programs and events, this position will be expected to aid in general administrative functions. Additional experience instructing other disciplines (Climbing, CrossFit, boxing, personal training, etc.) is a bonus, but is not expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate partnership and community programming as assigned
• Carry out administrative functions, including updating program schedule on our website, conducting outreach events and data entry
• Assist with facility maintenance and upkeep to ensure the facility and programming space are trauma informed (accessible, clean, safe, welcoming), reflect Phoenix Multisport’s core values and community standards
• Attend and participate in local and national staff meetings, and programming and partnership team meetings
• Under supervision of the Chapter Manager, ensure coverage of community and partnership programs
• Review and respond promptly, accurately and cordially to all inquiries

Part-Time Yoga Teacher, Danvers, MA

Position Summary: This position is responsible for teaching yoga classes at Recovery Centers of America, a 200-bed treatment facility located in Danvers, MA. • Ensure quality fitness programming and Phoenix recovery support is provided to patients at RCA – Danvers
• Through our partnership with RCA-Danvers, help improve access to recovery support and treatment for those living on the North Shore.
• Work as part of a larger team to help build a robust sober active community throughout New England
